October 15, 2009: A summer storm is blowing in off the sea, but the two lovers are oblivious as they stroll together along the shore and by the wild sea roses - which perhaps they are oblivious to as well. Barbara's newest painting, "The Strollers", is fresh from the easel and still wet.
August 15, 2009: Barbara is honored to have received the highest award of the Gilmanton Old Home Day Art Show for her small oil of a farm with twin silos which garnered the top award of BEST IN SHOW. For her prize-winning painting she received a large purple rosette ribbon and a generous cash award. Thank you to the organizers and judges, and a special thank you to Mary Morse whose kindness and sweet gentle manner made this year's art show a pure delight!
July 27, 2009: Some of this summer's works in oils will be displayed at the Gilmanton Old Home Day Art Show located at the Smith Meeting House, Smith Meeting House Road, Gilmanton, NH, on August 15th from 10am to close where Barbara Clairmont Gray is this year's featured artist.
